Sicily

Sicily is becoming quite the big girl.  She has really enjoyed her ballet school, and her teacher Miss Julie.  I think she is becoming quite the performer, she is usually very willing to demonstrate the dance she is learning for her recital.   She is more than happy to sing a song at a moments notice.  Her favorites are:  Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, The Arkansas Fight Song, and We Are the Dinosaurs.  She is also quite the Cheese monster, as shown in the following photos.

Let's play pretend, is one of her favorite games.  She most often pretends that she is a baby or a mommy,  or a puppy.  (In the picture below she and Eliza are in their "dog kennels")
She is also learning more and more every day.  She is learning some of her letters.  She can very easily identify the letter "s" which she calls "Snakes for Sicily".  She can also identify capital "A", and most of her numbers, as well as some other letters.  She likes to play outside when it is nice, and she pretends that her playhouse is a restaurant, and she likes to take my order.  Of all the things I thought she'd want to be, a waitress and short order cook was not one of them.

One of my favorite things is to listen to her tell a story.  One day we were driving and she was telling me about the time that the man at the car wash gave her a sucker, and then came down the scary brushes that wash the car.  She always gives a lot of details, and she can remember forever!

This is a picture of Sicily in her Christmas dress, that she got to wear for the first time in January.  Between the holidays, and illnesses, it was almost a month later that she got to wear her dress to church.  Anyway, She is most definitely, a lot of fun, and one very silly little girl.
