Well, it's that time of year again. The time of year when things slow down a little, and we get to move back into our house, after spending the last month and a half in Missouri. The time of year when we will visit our church, and they will struggle to remember our names. The time of year when our very sweet neighbors can answer the door, or the phone, and not be in fear that we will ask them to feed our dogs. It's bittersweet, but at last it is here. We have had a really great holiday season! (Despite battling a variety of viruses.) We have had many Birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas celebrations. We have been so fortunate to see so many relatives, that we only get to see at these special times of year.
Sicily has "figured" out the gift giving, I mean receiving part of Christmas. She now sees things on the television, and says "Maybe, I can get that for Christmas." She has also become quite the performer. She will at random start singing songs, loud and proud. She is very helpful, and if Eliza gets upset for any reason, she will start singing to make her feel better. Right now, her song of choice is Baa Baa Black sheep. But it's jazzier than any version of Baa Baa Black Sheep that you have ever heard. Ask me sometime, I have it as my ring tone.
Eliza is just blooming, in every way. She refuses to be left behind and is always running to catch up with Sicily, and Joshua. Her vocabulary is growing exponentially. My favorite phrase of hers is "No, Ma'am!" It is accompanied by a stern look, sharp tone, and pointed finger. I don't know where she gets these things. Oh, and she calls Scott by his name, and I think she knows it drives him crazy, because she prefers to call him Scott over Daddy. While I'm pretty sure that contact sports are in her future, she also likes to dance, anytime, anyplace!
As of right now, everyone is pretty much healthy. The Christmas tree is still up, but it may be it's last year in the "spotlight" so I'm giving it one last day of glory before it goes back in the box. Scott, has been extra busy, keeping up with the college bowl games, and Razorback basketball. Soon the Championship game will be over, and he can relax for a while before March madness. I have been busy trying to help my mom with her store, and working on some misc. projects at home. (stay tuned for updates)
Happy New Year to Everyone!

I love your blog! The pictures are so cute...
Joshua was wiped out tonight. I think getting up early was hard on him...we stayed up later and slept in a lot on our vacation. Hopefully we will get him back on track before long. :)
Thank you for the gifts...so not necessary, but much appreciated. Of course, Joshua loves all things musical. And we did not have the movie. Lauren was excited about it all!
Yeah I am so excited you have a blog!!! Please add us as a friend and we will do the same if that is ok. Hope all is well. Your girls are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!
